Training accredited by the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST). Schema Therapy is a psychotherapeutic approach adapted for clients with chronic and long-standing psychological disorders. Numerous studies indicate its efﬁciency even among clients that have shown resistance to other forms of therapy, in particular those with personality disorders. Schema Therapy is an integrative approach, combining aspects of CBT, Psychoanalysis, Gestalt Therapy, Constructivism, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), providing a clear and efﬁcient model that give insight into psychological disorders. Problems are addressed on an emotional, cognitive and behavioural level, applying a number of techniques from various different types of therapy. The variety of these creative techniques allows the therapist to teach their client in such a way that reinforces the model of the Healthy Adult, allowing them the space in which they can ﬁnd adaptive ways to meet their speciﬁc needs at a more profound level.
